All routes start & finish at The Oval Cricket Ground, and take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s landmarks. Sign up as a team, or as an individual and families are welcome. There’s rest stops with snacks & drinks, a special medal, and hot food back at the finish before you head home.

It might be chilly so there’s a special Winter Walk bobble hat which is FREE with the Early Bird Deal – and picked up on the day at The Oval start. The Early Bird Deal ends 31st October 2025.

Why choose Refuge?

1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in her lifetime.

One woman is killed by an abusive partner or ex every five days, on average.

Refuge provides a range of life saving services to help rebuild the lives of women and their children, free from fear and violence. We make sure the experiences of survivors are at the heart of our work and help amplify their voices. Our specialist staff understand the diverse and complex needs of those experiencing abuse and we are experts in the dynamics of domestic abuse and gender-based violence.

Domestic abuse and violence against women and girls will only end when we create gender equality. Refuge is a feminist organisation striving for inclusivity and equality and our feminism is intersectional. Every day we work extensively and closely with survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring their diverse and varied experiences and needs are central to everything we do. We are committed to a world where domestic abuse and violence against women and girls is not tolerated, and where women and children can live safely.

Join Team Refuge today to make this a reality.
